To create a tool - In Dolphin PartMaster V7

Note V8 differs, but this is covered in the help file

1.  Start a new drawing

2.  Select File/import symbol - select LatheToolData.SYM

3.  Select Draw/symbol

4.  Click on "paper" - attributes screen appears - change attribute values

5.  Copy & paste tool shape

6.  Set origin at top left, perpendicular to tool tip for RH tool     ******

7.  Select NC/contours for holder - name it "Holder"

8.  Select NC/contours or circle for tip - name it "Tip"

9.  Save

10. Select machining/milling, then set all view options on to check the NC contours

11. Make sure that all contours go counter clockwise               ******

******

These are essential, if origin not set first, the tool display is centred on the tool holder

if contours do not go the same way, the tool animation is ghostly
